Reina papp

Intern – Supervised by Ilse Sucely de Leon MABC, LCMHC-NC/QS, LPC-TX

Reina Papp is a dedicated graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a strong foundation from her previous Master’s in School Counseling from Liberty University. Currently based in North Carolina, Reina has experience as a middle school teacher and a high school counselor. Reina is passionate about working with children and adolescents, particularly those with special needs. This passion is deeply personal, inspired by her own daughter’s journey with autism and the challenges her family faced in finding effective counseling support.

Reina’s approach to counseling is rooted in person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emphasizing empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based techniques to empower her clients. She is actively working toward certification in autism and play therapy to enhance her ability to serve this community.

Outside of her professional goals, Reina enjoys spending quality time with her family, gardening, solving puzzles, and relaxing at the beach. She looks forward to applying the skills she gains during her practicum and internships to become a compassionate and knowledgeable counselor who supports children, adolescents, and their families.
