Madison Klotz holds her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is working to obtain her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Liberty University Madison is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic support with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques. Throughout her training, she has developed a deep appreciation for the value of goal-oriented interventions that address both cognitive and emotional processes, empowering clients to develop effective coping strategies and enhance their overall well-being. Madison has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Central to her clinical and life philosophy is a client-centered approach that prioritizes building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships. Madison firmly believes that establishing a collaborative and empathetic relationship is essential to facilitating meaningful change. By fostering a safe and nonjudgmental environment, she aims to encourage clients to engage openly in the therapeutic process and explore their unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. As a professional, she is rooted in her faith that emphasizes compassion, hope, and humility. Madison’s faith reminds her that each person holds inherent worth and potential for growth, guiding her to serve clients with empathy, wisdom, and grace throughout the healing process.

As Madison continues to grow professionally, she remains dedicated to advancing her knowledge of CBT and DBT techniques. She has a special interest in working with adolescents and children of all ages. She is motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those she serves and to contribute meaningfully to their journey.
