Are you tired of pulling yourself up by your bootstraps? Maybe what you are seeking is someone to understand that you don’t want to wear boots! Depression and anxiety can be developed over a lifetime of ignoring our feelings. Kathy is here to help you take a step back and address unresolved pain and conflict in your life. You don’t have to face it alone. After earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kathy spent over 20 years working in the research community until four years ago, when she felt called to help people in a more direct way. Kathy recently earned a Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is ready to support others through some of their darkest times. Cognitive behavior therapy and person centered therapy are two of the approaches that she uses in practice. Kathy has had experience with people of all ages and conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Please contact our office if you need help moving forward from your painful past.
